Job Title : Radiologic Technologist
Location : New Haven, Connecticut
Rate : $28.00 per hour
Shift Type : Evenings
Shift Times : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM or 2 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM
Hours / Day : 8
Weekend Requirements : Yes
Shift Differentials :
- Mon - Fri : $2.00 shift differential starting at 2 : 00 PM
- Weekend : $3.00 shift differential for all hours worked (shift must start at or after 2 : 00 PM)
Job Overview :
The Radiologic Technologist will provide mobile diagnostic imaging services, primarily X-rays and EKGs, at various locations including nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other similar sites across Connecticut.
You will work independently, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images are captured and submitted for radiologist interpretation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
- Transport and unload equipment from the company-provided vehicle to perform exams.
- Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images.
- Perform EKGs as required and transmit to a cardiologist for interpretation.
- Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
- Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily as per protocol.
- Maintain equipment and ensure safe operations in accordance with company standards.

Physical Demands :
The job requires pushing / pulling 50-100 lbs, with frequent use of ramps and pulleys to transport equipment.
Certification Requirements :
- ARRT Certification
- Connecticut State License
