oin our dynamic team as an On-Call Truck Driver for our 26-footer truck. We are a leading office furniture installation company seeking a skilled and licensed driver with experience in cargo transportation.
Your role will be crucial in ensuring timely and safe delivery of office furniture to our clients.
Responsibilities :
- Safely operate a 26-foot truck to transport and deliver office furniture to various locations.
- Efficiently load and unload cargo while ensuring the protection of items from damage during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations to guarantee a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with the installation team to coordinate delivery schedules and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Qualifications :
- Valid and clean Class CDL driver's license with a proven track record of safe driving.
- Previous experience in cargo transportation, preferably with expertise in handling office furniture.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on-call with variable weekly hours (20-40 hours).
Compensation :
- Pay will be based on experience.
- Opportunities for overtime pay may be available.
