Our ideal candidate will handle case files from start to finish, have excellent credentials, a passion for helping people, and a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury pre-suit experience.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing a docket of pre-litigation personal injury files
• Maintain updated status documentation of all case files in the case management system
• Communicating effectively with clients to keep them informed about their cases
• Strategizing optimal case resolutions and executing them effectively
• Engaging in client communication and meetings
• Negotiating pre-litigation settlements with insurance companies and other parties
• Reviewing and finalizing settlement releases
• Handling medical and other liens
• Daily oversight of the legal assistant team
• Assist with new case evaluation

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree
• Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law / tort law, wrongful death, civil law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative
• State license to practice law and State Bar Association membership is mandatory
• Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills are highly valued
• Computer proficiency is essential

Compensation

$85,000 - $100,000 yearly
