Position Overview :
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and testing of advanced downhole tools, with a focus on MWD / LWD technology.
You will oversee electrical systems design, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure reliability in harsh environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design and testing of electrical systems for MWD / LWD downhole tools.
- Oversee PCB design, layout, and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams for system integration.
- Troubleshoot and optimize electrical systems for reliability in downhole environments.
- Drive development of shale-gas measurement technologies for efficiency and greener solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, focusing on downhole tools or MWD / LWD technologies.
- Strong expertise in circuit design, FPGA programming, and sensor integration.
- Experience with PCB design and reliability standards for harsh conditions.
- Knowledge of drilling operations and downhole logging tools preferred.
