Kelly Services is seeking a dynamic and organized Administrative Assistant to join a Performance Monomers (R&D) team. This position provides professional administrative support to organizations at both the Deer Park location and Collegeville sites, with a primary base in Deer Park, TX.
The role demands a strong sense of organizational discipline, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive can-do attitude.
Administrative Assistant, Performance Monomers R&D Team
Location : Deer Park, TX
Pay Rate : Based on Expereince
Schedule : Mon-Fri 8-5 (with some flexibility on start and end times)
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide professional administrative support under limited direction, including scheduling meetings, booking conference rooms, and managing visitor processes.
- Act as a building focal point for the Process Chemistry Lab, coordinating site access, tours, and managing building supplies.
- Participate as an active member of the Safety Action Council (SAC), coordinating safety meetings and events.
- Manage documentation for various projects, including lab procedures on SharePoint sites and Teams.
- Track expenses against budgets, report discrepancies, and assist with the budget management process.
- Arrange domestic and international business travel, including itineraries, flight bookings, and accommodations.
- Support R&D campus recruiting and onboarding of new hires.
- Drive continuous improvement within work processes and systems to enhance team / project efficiency.
Required Qualifications :
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in administrative or project coordination roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with SAP, Workday, Ariba, Concur, Diamond Systems, File Share Manager, and Diamond Learning.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
