Job Summary
Growing, family-owned property management and development company with a large portfolio of historic buildings in business for more than 40 years is seeking an experienced, well-rounded carpenter.
Our focus on preservation, restoration and the adaptive reuse of historic buildings will provide carpenters of any skill level a great opportunity to expand their knowledge and abilities.
We do everything from minor repairs during apartment flips to major renovations from shell to finish. In this role, you will work on a various types of buildings and construction tasks.
The ideal candidate is hard-working and dedicated to producing quality work. If you are an experienced Carpenter with a positive attitude, we want to hear from you.
Required Skills :
Framing, dry wall & spackling, trim & finish work, hardwood floors, hanging cabinets.
Additional Skills :
Tiling, roofing, light plumbing, light electrical, HVAC knowledge, appliance installation, locksmithing.

Responsibilities
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Construct rough framing
- Install and repair fixtures and materials such as drywall, windows, doors, cabinets, flooring, trim, and hardware
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Carpenter is required
- Current OSHA certification is preferred
- Strong understanding of math and measurements
- Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Have a valid driver’s license, vehicle and insurance
