General Summary : Operates a variety of radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes as directed by the Radiologists, in accordance to established protocols.
Assists physicians and other clinical staff with obtaining films, images, and other records using the Radiology PACS or hospital information systems.
Explains procedure to patients, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects of job.
Location : Edward Hospital, 801 S. Washington, Naperville, IL 60540
Hours : 2 : 00pm to 10 : 30pm - rotating every other weekend, 2 / 3 holidays a year. On-Call : 2-3 shifts per year.
Required :
- High School Diploma or GED
- IEMA licensure or notice of IEMA compliance and authorization to perform medical radiation
- At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) certification (i.e., Certificate of Program Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director of the accredited school.).
- Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross
Preferred :
- A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher
