OVERVIEW :
As the HR Director (Supervisory) you will work closely with the Company leadership team supporting activities that drive success and delivery for effective operations across the Company’s portfolio.
The HR Director, or Director of Human Resources, is responsible for overseeing HR management and department operations to adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
Their duties include communicating between company Executives and management, managing the HR department budget and coordinating with management to ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.
GENERAL DUTIES :
Identifying, evaluating and solving hiring challenges.
Recruiting top talent to executive positions.
Mediating and suggesting solutions to employee disputes.
Interviewing potential candidates and making recommendations.
Compiling information about compensation and benefits packages based on market data.
Full service, end-to-end HR support for multiple federal clients.
Experience dealing with day-to-day employee matters, including hiring, onboarding, out-processing and other complex matters that arise.
Ability to manage high level strategic HR planning for the company, while also being able to be hands on with a variety of HR tasks and projects.
Experience creating operating processes, templates, & policy documents related to HR matters.
Prefer someone with a strong technical and hands on understanding of payroll processing and related matters.
Experience navigating and staying up-to-date on complex federal and state compliance and regulations as it relates to HR and employment law.
Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work with various technology platforms, conduct and summarize research and engage with various stakeholders.
Provide training, guidance and oversight to junior HR team members.
Strong understanding of the sensitive nature of HR and ability to lead internal efforts to keep HR secured, organized and in tune with best practices.
Comfortable with various forms of communication, including emails, phone calls, text messages, chats, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
At least a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Sciences, or related field.
A deep understanding of the ever-changing landscape of employment law.
History of success in managing and developing talent.
4+ years of progressive HR Management experience.
Experience in Labor and Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits, Organizational Development, and Talent Acquisition / Management.
Working knowledge and experience with State and Federal laws; strong government contracting experience.
SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification.
