What We’re Looking For :

As the Marketing Manager , you will develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, fan engagement, and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing strategy, cross-functional team management, and a track record of successful campaign execution.

This role will report to our Senior Marketing Manager and sit on our Marketing team. The Product Department at Cloud9 consists of Marketing, Socials, Content, Merchandise, and Graphics.

The Marketing team is responsible for all campaigns and activations, supporting Partnerships, fulfilling obligations, and working with Team Operations to amplify our competitive teams and content creators.

This position will work extremely closely with our Technology teams.

What You’ll Do :

  • Develop, plan, and execute marketing strategies and campaigns that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Utilize, manage, and grow fan engagement applications and platforms to increase interaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor performance and user activity, making necessary adjustments to improve user experience.
  • Assist in the ideation and development of decks and proposals for new marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all marketing efforts are cohesive and aligned with the campaign’s goals.
  • Communicate marketing status updates and progress reports to stakeholders, facilitate alignment amongst stakeholders to progress projects.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure the successful implementation of marketing campaigns.
  • Assure on-time delivery and execution of campaigns, assets, and partnership deliverables .
  • Develop post-campaign reports and analytics to measure campaign success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Brainstorm new strategies for marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct market research to understand our target audience and create targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, new marketing technologies, and emerging platforms to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Support event planning and execution, when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Must be local to Los Angeles or willing to relocate.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 1 year of project management experience.
  • Experience in managing complex marketing projects and campaigns.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possession of active listening skills with an emphasis on understanding. The artful ability to deliver clear and logical thoughts in response.
  • High growth-oriented mindset with a strong internal need for achievement.
  • Ability to do the role as it requires today, but the capability and mindset to learn and grow into what it will require with new demands and scenarios.
  • Ability to focus on completing goals and not get discouraged easily.

  • The wage range for this role incorporates the multiple factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000 - $75,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance
