Staff Accountant

Position Overview :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support our finance department in various accounting and financial tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

• Perform daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable / receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues and provide financial support as needed.
• Assist with audits and tax preparation as required.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting operations.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
