IN-HOME SALES & ENERGY CONSULTANT

Sales Consultant Position Overview :

As a Residential Insulation Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our mission to improve home energy efficiency and comfort.

You will be responsible for engaging with homeowners, assessing their insulation needs, and providing tailored solutions using our premium products.

It is your responsibility to sell all USA Insulation products and services, representing the company professionally, and maintaining our customer-first philosophy

Job Compensation Type : Commission with a fixed training pay structure for the first four weeks of employment

Pay : $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Experience : In-home Sales, 1 year (Preferred)

License : Driver (Required)

Working Days : Monday-Saturday, Appointment times vary, Sales Meeting in-person every Wednesday at 8 AM

Work Location : On the road and occasionally in-office

Essential Functions :

Meet homeowners at pre-set appointments between the hours of 9AM and 8PM.

Allow for frequent Evenings and Saturday appointments.

Understand and apply the USA Insulation Sales Process from initial contact to closing the sale, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience.

Learn all details of the USA Insulation Sales Presentation

Conduct thorough assessments of customers’ homes to identify insulation needs and potential areas for improvement.

Present and explain the benefits of USA Premium Injection Foam insulation to homeowners, addressing any questions or concerns.

Close business on first visit the majority of the time

Maintain ongoing communication with potential and existing customers

Occasionally work home shows and events

Occasionally attend networking events to generate opportunities

Proactively reach out to homeowners through various channels to introduce our insulation solutions

Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions using our CRM system and tablets

All USA Insulation Sales Consultants will report directly to the Director of Sales.

Qualifications :

1-3 years of previous sales experience, particularly in home improvement or related industries, is preferred.

Strong commitment to Customer service with great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers

A self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with a passion for helping homeowners improve their living environment

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customers’ schedules.

High School diploma or equivalent or above

Must have a reliable car and / or means to drive to all appointments within our seven territories including Northwest Ohio, Southeast Michigan, and Kalamazoo

Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English

Must have cell phone paid for by In-Home Sales and Energy Consultant

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and climb ladders up to 8 feet
