Lake Havasu is known as a party community town and during World War II was a US Army Air Corps camp. London Bridge which was brought over from England and completed in 1971 is now a favorite tourist attraction in Lake Havasu.
During Spring Break many university students go there on vacation and MTV has featured Lake Havasu twice as a fun social spot to go to.
