This position is onsite in Charlotte, NC. Hybrid / remote options are not available.
The Manager Production-Process Operations 1 - (2nd Shift Supervisor) is a supervisor role with no direct reports.
Job Functions :
Supervise manufacturing and associated personnel on 2nd shift for all fabrication areas, and for Crystal Growth and Coating, as needed.
Drive production priorities while maintaining safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
Effectively document and communicate production issues / status to first shift personnel.
Partner with area supervisors, managers, or other resources to address and solve critical operational and employee performance issues in a timely manner.
Fully understand and properly execute emergency procedures.
Demonstrate the required leadership behaviors to motivate and engage employees and to build trust and confidence among the management team and peers.
Basic Qualifications :
Associates Degree with 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
Experience directly supervising a manufacturing operation and personnel.
Five or more years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Demonstrated leadership behaviors to motivate, engage, and build trust.
Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelors degree with 1-3 years of manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing concepts.
Salary Range : $82,500 - $123,700The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
