Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Position in Winston-Salem, NC

Our affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of the Carolinas, is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

Position Highlights :

• Join an established and successful practice that has served women in the Winston-Salem area and the surrounding areas for over 50 years
• Practice has 13 physicians and 9 advanced practice providers
• 4 practice locations in Winston-Salem, Kernersville, King, and Mount Airy
• Full time position for someone who wants to work about 32-40 hours per week
• This is a clinic only position and does not require any hospital, call, nights, or weekends
• Nurse practitioner will work with patients along with the physicians and will assist with the management of the office when the physicians are out for deliveries, surgeries or vacation
• Duties include seeing patients, completing charting, calling back patients with labs, answering patient phone calls, patient education, sending prescriptions electronically or by phone, and administering medication
• Will assist physician with scheduling patient appointments and surgical procedures at Novant Medical Center Hospital and Wake Forest Baptist Hospital
• 2 years of women's health nurse practitioner experience required

Requirements :

• National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
• Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
• Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
• Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
• Two years of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required
