Job Summary

Summary : Perform job duties required to maintain kitchen work areas, kitchen equipment in clean and orderly condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Sweeps and mops floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, doors, ceilings, vents, exhaust systems, high touch surfaces, meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas.
• Washes dishes, posts, pans with ability to inspect and evaluate complete cleanliness / condition and ensuring no presence of moisture before returning wares to storage areas.
• Ability to move at a fast pace throughout the work day.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested.
• Assistance with properly storing food and equipment orders as they are received - ability to use a hand truck / pallet jack moving product in excess of 500 pounds.
• Ability to move heavy equipment and wares around the property in excess of 200 pounds
• Ability to stand and work safely from ladders or stepstools.
