Principal Data Modeler RDBMS / DATA WAREHOUSING / OLAP / SNOWFLAKE / CLOUD

The Role

As a Data Modeler, the candidate will collaborate with collaborators and multi-functional teams, Architects, Tech Leads and senior development resources across our team, as well as other technical and business collaborators across the organization in a fast paced agile environment to understand data requirements and design appropriate data models that align with business needs .

The candidate will also collaborate with business, technology and architecture teams across the company to design and develop our next generation data platforms using traditional / brand new / Cloud technologies, open source frameworks and cloud services.

u00A0you will be responsible for contributing to the overall effort around defining the domain and data capabilities by analyzing business requirements, and developing solutions for the projects delivered by the Fidelity Wealth Technology Engineering team. u00A0

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

u00A0 u00A0 u00A0 u00A0Bachelor s or master s Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required.

u00A0 u00A0 u00A0 u00A09+ years of data modeling experience

u00A0 u00A0 u00A0 u00A0Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design appropriate data models that align with business needs

u00A0 u00A0 u00A0 u00A0Govern data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models.

u00A0 u00A0 u00A0 u00A0Experience with data modeling tools such as Power Designer

u00A0 u00A0 u00A0 u00A0Expertise in data modeling principles / methods including conceptual, logical & physical Data Models dimensional and data vault

u00A0 u00A0 u00A0 u00A0Extensive hands-on data modeling ( Dimensional Modeling) , architecture and development experience on data integration patterns, relational and NoSQL databases, Event driven architecture and microservices.

Ability to evaluate, prototype and recommend open source and vendor technologies and platforms. u00A0

The Customer Data and Marketing Technology group within Fidelity Wealth organization is seeking a Principal Data Modeler to enable our application and data engineers to build and maintain large scale data processing systems for analytical and operational use cases.

In this role, you will lean on a variety of experiences and technologies to develop innovative solutions, focused on the enablement of customer and prospect data attributes to drive solutions across the enteprise.
