We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team near Wilmington, FL. Known for its vibrant coastal lifestyle and rich cultural heritage, Wilmington offers a unique setting where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals of all ages.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in diverse populations.
- Develop customized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address communication and swallowing challenges effectively.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, educators, and other therapists to ensure holistic care.
- Educate clients, families, and caregivers on strategies and exercises to support communication and swallowing goals.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure (SLP) in Florida and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Clinical experience preferred; new graduates with relevant clinical practicum experience will be considered.
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
