In this Director role, you will partner with the business and be responsible for HR operations, guide management, analyze HR metrics, resolve employee relations issues, amplify office culture, ensure legal compliance of and implement policies, and suggest HR strategies aligned with business goals.
The Director is responsible for full, accurate and equitable administration of all compensation and benefits, and will be directly responsible for executing the day-to-day tasks of an HR department that serves the needs of 100 employees across 3 offices.
This position is located in our Salt Lake City office 5-days a week with occasional travel to our other offices. This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and has one direct report, the HR Administrator.

What You'll Do :
- Business Partnership. You will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on all HR-related matters by proactively working with the business on various challenges and strategies, and support the business units in workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
- Employee Relations and Engagement. You will manage employee relations issues to ensure fair and consistent resolution, and develop and implement programs to enhance engagement, retention, and overall office culture.
- Talent Management. Work with business leaders to identify talent needs, and create strategies for recruitment, development, and succession planning.
You will also implement and oversee the performance management process to drive employee development and accountability.
- HR Best Practices. Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and practices, and ensure effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- HR Leadership. Manage the HR Administrator, monitor and assess HR metrics and data, ensure compliance, and develop / implement HR strategies to support business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business, or related field.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years as a HRBP or similar role.
- HR Professional certificate preferred - SHRM-CP, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR.
