Job Responsibilities :
- Safely perform preventative and corrective maintenance on steel mill equipment and systems
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to challenges in the steel making process.
- Capable of troubleshooting and repairing machinery, equipment, and facility structures to support operations and production process.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot equipment performance.
- Able to work in a team setting, self-motivated, productive without direct supervision.
Job Qualifications :
- Associate's degree
- 2+ years of experience in steel mill electrical maintenance
- Experience troubleshooting 480V motors and controls
- Experience with PLC systems, drives, and instrumentation
- Able to work 4-on-4-off 12hr shifts rotating
