CPA firm seeking a Tax Manager / Senior Manager with Non-Profit expertise. This position can be located in NY / LI / Westchester / NJ / CT / MA or REMOTEResponsibilities : Manage tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to health-care institutions, higher education institutions, private foundation and exempt organizationsAssist in managing, developing and coaching professional tax staffHelp develop, build and manage client relationshipsParticipate and actively grow the practice through external marketing and business development activitiesProvide timely and outstanding client service exceeding client expectationsQualifications : Minimum of 5 to 7 years related experience in public accounting focusing on health-care, higher education, and exempt organization taxCPA certification is requiredIn-depth experience in managing the preparation of Form 990, Form 990-T and Form 990-PFExperience with excess benefit transactions, private inurement, unrelated business income tax, alternative investment reporting (federal, foreign, state), affordable care act issues (501(r))and other issues specific to exempt organizationsExperience managing multiple client engagements
