Work Shift : Night
Job Summary :
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and procedures, and document treatment as per company policy and regulations.
- Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs and care responses.
- Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
- Administer medications as ordered.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for patients.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain nursing standards.
Requirements :
- Graduate of a professional nursing program with Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience as a PCA or nursing assistant preferred.
- Continuing education to improve job performance.
- Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving tools.
