Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and active NYS DOH Radiography license for a busy Level II trauma center serving both adult and pediatric patients.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position located in a high-volume 300-bed Level II trauma center designated as a Gold Plus stroke facility
  • Work with emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient adult and pediatric populations
  • Utilizes Siemens 64 / 128 Definition CT scanners
  • Experience performing CT procedures in the operating room is required
  • Variable day shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM with every other weekend required
  • Trauma and cardiac CTA experience preferred
  • Must wear gray / pewter scrubs
  • Comprehensive orientation provided
  • Completion of facility-required training modules prior to assignment start
  • Candidates with prior employment at this health system are subject to an eligibility review process
  • Local candidates are accepted within a 60-mile radius at a reduced rate

  • Current NYS DOH Radiography license required if applicable
  • Registered Technologist R.T. (R) (CT) (ARRT) credentials required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent CT experience
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment required
  • Experience in trauma or cardiac CTA preferred
  • Two professional references from prior year in the current specialty required
