San Francisco, California, US
$190K-$214K a year
Full-time

About the Role

A Product Manager at Envoy is charged with influencing, inspiring, and leading teams to build products and features customers use and love while contributing positively to Envoy's business.

We aspire to have inspired and well-informed teams because we believe our best solutions won't come from any person. As such you'll be a leader, facilitator, orchestrator, and teammate.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development and execution of our platform that serves both internal teams and external customers and partners.

The platform is at the core of interfacing our Envoy products with various hardware and software products and systems within the productivity, workplace, and facilities ecosystem.

You will be responsible for driving the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring that the platform meets the needs of our customers, partners, and business.

This role focuses on our developer users. They integrate hundreds of third party tools into Envoy to do things we haven’t even imagined.

Some of today’s use cases include unlocking doors remotely, integrated temperature check sensors and managing wifi systems.

They use best in class APIs, webhooks, SDKs to interconnect our products to the world. They care about JSON versus GraphQL, performance and clear documentation and being able to do powerful things with Envoy that we haven’t even dreamed up yet.

This role will lead the APIs and tools we develop for developers, and build a healthy ecosystem of innovations on the Envoy platform.

This role also supports our business for large multinational customers who operate with dozens of different tools they integrate into the Envoy platform.

Beyond that, this role helps our systems scale and our products be used in millions more workplaces, with new and interesting innovations in smart office spaces, data platforms, and supporting in-office presence capabilities.

This is a hybrid position that requires at least 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ.

  • Ensure seamless interoperability between the platform and third-party solutions, optimizing performance and user experience.
  • Identify and address technical challenges related to integration, scalability, and security.

You Are

Someone with extremely high standards. You’re practical and know perfect is the enemy of the good, but you aspire for us to be great.

You care deeply about the quality of our work and our team.

An Owner. You act with and teach appropriate urgency when the situation calls for it. You feel personally accountable and responsible.

You proactively look for problems and inefficiencies and find elegant solutions before they become major issues.

  • Fast-paced. You love the speed and impact you have on startups.
  • Empathetic, a great listener, and observer. You know there might be differences between what customers say and do and are able to use both what you hear and what you see to deduce the actual pain they're experiencing.

You actively build relationships with your teammates to better understand their work and partner with them.

Insanely curious. Before you even consider a solution, you want to understand and clearly articulate the problem. And when devising solutions, you seek and value input from as many sources as possible and work as a servant leader in your team to create products that delight.

You are passionate about defining goals and metrics and other ways to know it's working and solving customers' problems once deployed.
