About The Position
Job Title : MRI Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - MRI Tech Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Mid 5x8-Hour (14 : 00 - 22 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Candidate may experience shift cancellations up to three times without penalty.
Experience : Minimum 1 year of MRI experience with Siemens equipment License : State License (Pending accepted) Certifications : BLS and ARRT Must-Have : - Siemens experience with 1.
5T and 3T MRI scanners- Experience in Outpatient, Inpatient, ER, Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital, and Adult ICU- General skills in IV starts, PACS, Contrast- Epic (Excellian) charting experience Job Description : Operate MRI equipment independently as well as part of a team.
- Capable of handling a daily caseload of approximately 50 exams.- Work primarily from Monday to Friday with weekend shifts required on occasion.
- Participate in an occasional overnight shift if needed.- Conduct exams for inpatients, outpatients, including general anesthesia, vented, sedated, and anxiolysis patients.
- Work in a busy MRI department and effectively multitask.- Maintain compliance with mandatory fingerprinting before commencing onsite work.
- The facility is a teaching hospital with Level 3 trauma care.- Required to park as designated and understand costs associated with different parking options.
