We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves the mechanical assembly of large-scale industrial food processing machines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing motors, gearboxes, belts, and hoses, and must be proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints and schematics.

Hours 6 : 00am-2 : 30 Mon-Fri with expectation of overtime to 4 : 00pm and Saturdays 6 : 00-1pm as needed.

Key Responsibilities :

Assemble industrial food processing equipment according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Install and align motors, gearboxes, belts, pulleys, and hoses with precision and care.
Use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment to position and secure components.
Perform mechanical adjustments and calibrations to ensure proper machine function.
Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot mechanical issues during and after assembly.
Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve design or assembly issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies or improvements.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in mechanical assembly or industrial maintenance preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics.

Proficient with mechanical tools and equipment, including torque wrenches, calipers, and hoists.

Familiarity with industrial components such as motors, gearboxes, belts, and pneumatic / hydraulic systems.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in the food processing equipment industry.

Knowledge of sanitary design and food safety standards.

Forklift certification or experience operating overhead cranes.
