Job Title : Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 Job Specialty : Staff Augmentation Job Duration : 52 Weeks Shift : Day Shift - Monday to Friday, 7 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 Hours per Week Experience : Minimum of relevant experience required License : - Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II (LCDC II) by Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board- Or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board- Or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board- Or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT) by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board- Or Licensed Registered Nurse by Ohio Board of Nursing plus completion of a master's degree in psychology or other mental health-related field- Or Licensed Registered Nurse by Ohio Board of Nursing plus completion of a master's degree in nursing with a Mental Health or Psychiatric Nursing concentration- Or Licensed Registered Nurse with a practice specialty certificate in Mental Health or Psychiatric Nursing as issued by Ohio Board of Nursing Certifications : None specified Must-Have : Valid driver's license- Ability to attend orientation on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 8 : 30 AM until approximately noon Job Description : Develop, coordinate, implement, and provide interdisciplinary services related to behavioral and biomedical sciences- Apply knowledge and techniques for prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation in healthcare settings- Perform psychosocial interventions within scope of practice- Conduct individual, family, or group interventions (e.
g., counseling, testing, and education)- Develop intervention goals and objectives to educate and resolve client issues- Engage in establishing, implementing, and evaluating treatment system goals and objectives- Interview clients and their families to set case goals and objectives- Assess clients, plan specific intervention techniques, and monitor responses- Provide feedback on treatment effectiveness- Evaluate cases and clients' progress against prescribed treatment plans- Maintain data documents to comply with federal, state, and local requirements- Prepare documentation, social histories, admission / aftercare summaries, court documents, and necessary forms- Serve on treatment and program development teams- Attend training, departmental meetings, and court hearings- Establish and maintain relationships with various facilities, agencies, and support services for seamless referrals and follow-up Orientation : Items must be in a clear plastic bag for entry.
Cannot bring cell phone or smart watch into the institution. Completion of continuing professional education for license renewal as per relevant sections of Ohio Revised Code is required.
