Job Duties and Responsibilities

Staff Engineer sought by DISH Wireless LLC in Littleton, CO.

Design and implement an enterprise scale cloud architecture with focus on scalability, performance, security, and availability.

Create and customize applications on Cloud native wireless platforms. Implement an Enterprise Cloud Architecture to power, deploy and operationalize our microservices, COTS products and custom applications.

Help build and scale containerized apps by implementing cloud native architecture. Design and build robust CICD processes for deployments including infrastructure as code.

Build complex integrations with enterprise systems for Security, Distributed Tracing, Telemetry, and others. Drive prototyping efforts to evaluate multiple design options and develop recommendations.

Help develop a platform interface to other systems. Enhance existing Tool Chain through internal development and investigation of third-party software.

Work with product managers to translate the use case requirements into functional and performance requirements for the platform.

Produce clean, well-documented code, with embedded unit tests, following development standard methodologies.

Job requirements :

Requires : Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a closely related field plus 10 years of overall experience (at least 5 years of which must be progressive post-baccalaureate experience) in job offered or as Technology Lead.

Also requires 5 years of experience with / using the following (which may have been gained concurrently) :

• Amazon & Azure multi-cloud technologies, Kubernetes & micro services architecture.
• CI / CD tools such as GitLab CI, Helm, Terraform, Cloudformation, Powershell, Ansible, Chef, Code Pipeline, Azure Devops, Jenkins, and Docker.
