We are offering a contract employment opportunity in Fresno, California, for a meticulous and organized Accounting Specialist.
The role is within the telecom industry, where you will be expected to utilize your skills in Accounting Software Systems.
Responsibilities :
- Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner
- Maintain and update customer credit records regularly
- Resolve any customer credit inquiries professionally and promptly
- Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary to collect delinquent payments
- Efficiently manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Carry out billing functions and check processing tasks with attention to detail
- Use Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and present financial data
- Collaborate with the team to ensure all accounting tasks are completed accurately and on schedule
- Continually seek to improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounting Specialist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.
- Familiarity with accounting functions.
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Knowledge of billing functions.
- Experience in check processing is required.
