The Senior Manager of Broadband Project Management is responsible for the planning and delivery of agile programs to assist T-Mobile in achieving business initiatives which includes handling the entire lifecycle for specific segment of new and existing product or service within the T-Mobile Broadband Organization.

The Senior Manager is the central force for building and maintaining an impactful team and handling resource plans to support the ebb and flow of work within a dynamic environment.

Provides oversight of the Project Management team's activities while acting as liaison to senior management and business partners.

The Senior Manager will collaborate with business and technology Directors, Vice Presidents, and functional teams such as Finance, IT, Network Engineering, Marketing, Care, Retail, and others.

Will provide appropriate staffing for projects and provide day-to-day guidance for and quality of Project Management results and the reconciliation between long-term and short-term goals.

This is a hybrid position working in-office 3 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Acts as Liaison and provide leadership for team and area of responsibility.

Provide leadership, direction and coaching on project specific tasks as well as individual professional development.

Ability to see, account for, and mentor others in the "big picture" as well as the details and to be able to tie IT initiatives to Company Goals.

Establish goals, manage to and evaluate personnel against established goals.

Recruit and hire personnel with appropriate skill-sets that can work effectively in the T-Mobile environment and assess, coach, and review.

Ensure coverage of all areas of expertise necessary to support and grow the business within the Manager's area of responsibility.

Create and maintain staffing plan to support the current and future work demands and project results.

Utilizes Team Development and Motivation techniques to constantly raise the bar in performance and quality within the Enterprise.

Creation and support of standards, processes and procedures necessary to produce the deliverables from the team and to work effectively with the other teams.

Manages the process and validate quality of deliverables produced by their team.

Provides ongoing reconciliation between strategic direction, long-term goals and short-term actions and reconciles the IT Strategies to the Business Strategies.

Also responsible for other Duties / Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.

7 years of proven experience leading personnel and coaching team members on resolving conflict and performance issues; formal training in coaching or management skills

Project and Program Management experience with managing or leading large, sophisticated technology projects.

Developing and delivering professional presentations on project status and issues to a variety of audiences including executives and non-technical leaders, while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence

Knowledge with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools.

Experience with Jira, Aha!, Asana preferred

Experience in wireless telecommunications industry preferred.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

At least 18 years of age

Colorado Pay Range : $152,900.00 - $206,800.00

Washington Pay Range : $164,100.00 - $222,000.00The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed.

The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role.

Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and / or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.

Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and / or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
