As Senior Designer you will :
- Contribute to trend direction for each season.
- Shop and research trends seasonally for inspiration.
- Work on a variety of projects ranging from Celebrity and Brand Partnerships to core product lines.
- Drive product concept through design and development process, including materials, trims, the creation of silhouettes, and fit blocks.
- Design through CAD or hand sketches.
- Prepare and present designs through illustrations, CAD, fabrication, inspiration, and samples.
- Ensure product designs support brand image, line plans, assortment strategies, and price points.
- Have in-person fittings with the support of technical design and MGMT.
- International and domestic travel.
Your Experience and Skills include :
- 7+ years experience in at least two of the following categories : Denim, RTW, Intimates, and Curve / Plus.
- Experience at a trend-driven brand or retailer focused on the Northern American and European markets.
- Nimble, scrappy and adaptable. Can roll with the punches and thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; can patiently and effectively communicate with a diverse and multicultural group of peers across time zones and continents.
- Computer design system skills including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Major bonus points if you’re fluent in Mandarin.
