Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher (SPED) for a full-time position in theBloomingdale, IL munity.
This role is available immediately and will continue through May 23, 2025. The position involves co-teaching math in a self-contained 7th-grade classroom and providing additional academic support.

- Position : Full-time Special Education Teacher (SPED)
- Location : Glendale Heights, IL (part of the Bloomingdale, IL area)
- Duration : ASAP - May 23, 2025
- Certification : LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist I) required
- Schedule : Monday through Friday, 7 : 25 AM 2 : 45 PM
Key Responsibilities :
- Co-teach math in a self-contained 7th-grade classroom, collaborating with the general education teacher to provide effective instruction.
- Offer academic support to students as needed, ensuring they meet their educational goals.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a supportive learning environment that acmodates diverse learning styles and needs.
- Collaborate with other educators, staff, and parents to ensure student success and address any challenges that arise.
Qualifications :
- Valid Illinois LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist I) certification.
- Experience in a self-contained classroom setting and with middle school students is preferred.
- Strong munication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective instructional strategies for students with diverse needs.
