Job Type Full-time Description
SUMMARY
To ensure that production and processing equipment is in working order in order to meet production goals. To work with production staff to develop machine requirements for new product introductions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Installation, maintenance and repair of production or processing equipment.
- Trouble shoot on systems such as the Bartelt, HFS, VFFS Hayssen & Matrix
- Fabrication of machine guards, installation or repair or conveyers, replacement of motors, tear down or replacement of pumps, maintenance of fluid collection or distribution equipment or repair of electro-mechanical equipment.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, work with general supervision
- May provide instruction and work direction to less experienced maintenance staff.
Hours for 2nd shift are 3pm-11 : 30pm.
Starting wage for this position is $32 per hour based upon experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of working in a manufacturing environment or related field.
- Working knowledge in all areas and extensive knowledge of at least one of the following : mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, machining, welding, electrical
- Formal Technical training preferred
