The nursing skill mix is 65% Registered nurse / 35% patient care technician. The patient population on North 4 is cardiac medical.

The major patient diagnoses includes : heart failure, pre / post cardiac catherization, cardiac diagnostic and intervention, myocardial infarction and medical overflow.
