Job Description

In the dynamic context of a new 3-year strategic plan launched by the Group and a recently reorganized organization, you will oversee marketing planning and operations for SCOR Property & Casualty in the Americas region (i.

e., Canada, USA, Caribbean, Central and Latin America). In line with the global strategy and marketing plan, you will work with local teams and senior management to build brand awareness, ensure consistent brand messaging across marketing channels, and execute differentiated local and regional marketing activities that support business objectives.

The position is based in one of our major US offices (Chicago, Miami, or New York) and reports to the Head of Marketing, who is based in our headquarters in Paris, France.

As the Head of Marketing for P&C in the Americas, you know how to drive multi-channel marketing programs and will be responsible for developing B2B marketing strategies and initiatives for the Region.

You will use strong, inspirational leadership skills to manage and motivate business and cross-functional teams to deliver marketing activities, campaigns and collaborations that build customer engagement and increase brand awareness.

The role requires both strategic and operational versatility, working closely with the wider P&C marketing team (7 people in total, based in France and the US) and the Group Communications team (digital, web, design, social media, copywriters, PR), as well as with senior executives and business teams to ensure that all marketing campaigns are timely executed and aligned with the core brand message.

The position is based in one of our major US offices (Chicago, Miami, or New York) and reports to the Head of Marketing, who is based in our headquarters in Paris, France.

Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy

You will ensure the implementation of effective marketing strategies in the region in line with the Property & Casualty business development objectives.

You will collaborate with senior team members across departments to gain insights and develop innovative marketing and branding strategies.

Design and implement marketing plans to increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement. You will work with the Life & Health marketing team to ensure a consistent regional approach and build synergies where possible.

Event Marketing

Tailored to each local market and budget, you suggest and organize client events (social & conference / training) and prioritize / coordinate company participation and sponsorships to market events.

Plan and organize marketing campaigns related to these events (client invitations, social media coverage, etc.)

Content Marketing

Contribute to the development of written or video content led by experts and the SCOR Innovation Podcast. You will help grow the audience in your region and increase employee advocacy in support of the global LinkedIn program.

Product Marketing

Working with the P&C Product Development & Innovation (PD&I) team and the Paris-based Product Marketing Manager, you will help promote products and services that are appropriate for the region.

People thought leadership

Enhance the thought leadership of key people in the region (Head of Lines and Regional Heads, subject matter experts, etc.

through expert-led content production, social media, speaking engagements, etc. Provide talking points and support SCOR spokespeople at events as needed.

Communication

Oversee the company's local communications strategy, both internally and externally, in coordination with Group Comms and regional leadership.

You support regional internal communications initiatives related to business and client issues, such as local townhalls.

You will work to continuously ensure that the company's marketing objectives are communicated throughout the organization and improve the company's marketing outreach.

Client Feedback and Global Strategy

Work with the Head of Client Management and Voice of Client to support the P&C strategy around clients in the region and leverage marketing activities to improve client feedback and UX.

Management

Manage the P&C marketing junior resource on operational marketing activities (CRM Salesforce and Account Engagement campaign management, event coordination, marketing brochures, promotional items, etc.) as well as local vendors.

Budget

Efficiently manage the annual marketing budget and advise regional and local management on marketing strategies that deliver the highest ROI.

Analysis & Reporting

Review and report on all areas of marketing strategies, monitoring competition and trends to identify opportunities and adjust processes.

You will routinely share strategies, progress, results, learnings and relevant industry trends with the broader team

Qualifications

Required experience and competencies

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, you are proactive and comfortable with juggling multiple deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership skills with 10+ years' experience within a marketing department and proven first-hand experience in management role in B2B, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with multicultural teams and cross department team members to enable collaboration, advice sharing, and directional leadership where required.
  • Experience in project management in digital, event, and content marketing with the ability to wear both strategic and operational hats according to needs and project phase.
  • Ability to use software packages competently, including Office 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Forms), SharePoint, good knowledge of CRM and marketing automation tools (e.

g. Salesforce, Account Engagement) as well as Adobe Suite and Vimeo.

Required Education

Master's degree in business, management, or marketing

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or range thereof, for roles that will be performed in New York.

Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, role and performance.

The range listed is just one component of SCOR's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range : $166k-$181k salary per year.

Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives. In addition, we provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement saving plan, paid holidays and paid time.
