About Our Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to work in the Philadelphia Corporate office. The Senior Product Designer will design and develop new product lines, as well as develop ideas and concepts for new products, programs, planograms and displays.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and illustrate new product lines.Develop and implement new product ideas.Develop artwork purchased or licensed by outside artists.
Design either generic or private label ensembles with minimal supervision.The understanding of and preparation of art files in 4 to 6 colors (both 4 color process and spot color) which will be turned over to the production team for final artwork production.
Assist with mock-ups when necessary.Stay current with design trends in the market place within the party category and related fields.
Help keep product die-line files up to date with revised sizes and new additions.Perform other related duties as required and assigned.Qualifications
Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite software.Strong internet and email skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
Requires effective oral and written communication skills including the ability to present ideas, and / or facts and recommendations effectively.
Experience using major private label style guides.A good understanding of offset and flexographic printing processes is preferred.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year art college or university required.4 years of related experience and / or training required;
5 or more years preferred.Previous experience designing any of the following categories is preferred : party goods, tableware, favors, activities, wearables, toys, stationery, décor, gifts, and / or activity products.
