Medical Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated remote, part-time Medical Assistant to join our team at Re-Fine, an Integrative Medical Telemedicine Practice, based in Houston, TX.

ARE YOU THE MEDICAL ASSISTANT OUR TEAM NEEDS?
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- MA Certification
- Excellent organizational abilities and time management skills
- Superior customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Capability to handle stressful situations with professionalism
Three years of recent experience in a related position in a medical office experience is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, obstetrical / perinatal coding, office billing forms, insurance or government payer regulations, and other third-party billing requirements is also a huge plus!
WHAT VITAL ASSISTANCE DO YOU PROVIDE?
This remote role offers a part-time schedule with 20 hours per week , primarily during day shifts, and occasional weekends as required.
As a Medical Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include scheduling patient appointments and providing essential support to medical providers during virtual visits.
You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of appointments, maintaining accurate records, and delivering exceptional patient care.
