General Summary / Responsibilities :
The Manager DME Bracing and Orthotics is responsible for the implementation, management, planning, operations and coordination of the DME bracing and orthotics service line.
He / She is responsible for the coordination with customer service reps, sourcing and managing inventory. He / She will work directly with providers and Orthotists / Certified Orthotic Fitters to ensure patient needs are being met.
He / She will provide fitting services to patients as needed.

Minimum Level of Education Required : Associate degree

Preferred educational qualifications : Bachelor's degree or extensive experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Must be a certified Orthotic Filter or Orhotists or can obtain the certification in 1 year.

Minimum Level of Experience Required : 5 - 7 years of job related experience
Prior job title or occupational experience : At least five years related experience is required.

Knowledge / Skills
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Ability to evaluate information and make independent judgments
- Experience with computer informational systems
- Must have good organizational skills and work well with others
- Knowledge of bracing / orthotics
- Already have or ability to obtain board certification as Orthotic Fitter Or board - Certified Orthotist
