Apps on Discord are the way for external developers to build innovative experiences on Discord in the form of bots, activities and more.

We are a small team responsible for developing both the building blocks developers can use to create these experiences as well as supporting the ecosystem in which users engage with these applications.

What you'll do Work on developing APIs, SDKs, UI Components and other primitives which external developers will use to build Apps with Collaborate with design, product, data science and other engineers to introduce new features used by our +180M monthly active users Be active in supporting our large public developer community on Discord Participate at all levels of ideation, implementation and release What you have 5+ years experience as a full-stack engineer with familiarity working in web and backend stacks.

Experience with designing and maintaining APIs. A focus on impact. Developers building on Discord are a vibrant and productive community, but we have a long way to go! You want to work with engineers, product managers, designers, and the external dev community to define great solutions to ambiguous problems.

Familiarity with React, React Native, TypeScript, Python, or Rust The US base salary range for this full-time position is $190,000 to $204,000 + equity + benefits.

Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
