Job Description :
- Manage and care for patients with diagnoses including acute ventilator need, high oxygen demand, DKA, severe sepsis, unstable GI bleed, trauma cases, open heart recovery, TAVR recovery, post-code blue, multi-system organ failure, and need for CRRT.
- Work with patient ratios of 1 : 2-3 based on skill level and acuity.
- Be open to floating within the scope to meet facility needs.
- Required to work every other weekend.
- Handle the responsibilities with no on-call requirements.
- Not eligible for block scheduling.
- Required to wear navy blue scrubs.
- Utilize Epic for charting.
- Ensure compliance with the facility's flu vaccine requirement, with no exemptions.
- Complete up to 8 hours of mandatory modules within 1 week of signing, not billable.
- Must have been away for 1 year before returning as a traveler in the same facility.
- Will float within the hospital or to affiliated hospitals based on volume / census.
Ensure to obtain all required certifications prior to start.
