Magnite seeks a skilled and savvy Senior Product Manager with experience in advertising technology to support traffic shaping, our machine learning driven software that evaluates over 1 trillion ad requests per day.

We are looking for someone with a passion for understanding and improving upon existing technologies to help pave the way for new and innovative product breakthroughs.

The ideal candidate has experience managing products and initiatives with dependencies across multiple teams and exhibits excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills.

In this role you will :

  • Serve as a core member of the Traffic Shaping product development team, overseeing existing deployments of our technology and driving future product development
  • Understand the business and competitive landscape to define product opportunities and specifications; working closely with Data Science, Engineering, Project Management, and Commercial teams to execute and deliver product solutions
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define the Traffic Shaping roadmap and align with business goals and the overall company vision
  • Collect and synthesize feedback from both internal and external stakeholders who are integrated into our digital advertising ecosystem
  • Manage product prioritization and trade-offs, balancing quick wins with longer-term, more strategic product investments
  • Work closely with our Technical Operations, Solutions Engineering, Product Marketing, and Account Management teams to define and hone our go-to-market strategies and pursue operational excellence
  • Present Traffic Shaping product lines internally, directly to customers, or at industry events
  • Consistently learn, improve, and operate at a high level while maintaining velocity, often performing A / B tests and / or high-impact deployments multiple times per week
  • Demonstrate ownership through all stages of product development, including monitoring metrics and assisting with production support

We're looking for someone with :

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 6+ years of experience in product management, focused on developing products for digital advertising
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a high degree of comfort in accessing, manipulating, analyzing, and presenting data;

experience with analytical tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, etc.)

  • Deep knowledge of advertising technologies, including ad serving, SSPs, DSPs, and DMPs
  • Proven experience driving all elements of the product development lifecycle, including product roadmapping, requirements gathering, go-to-market planning, and end-of-life planning
  • Experience creating and executing experiments that yield data that drive product and engineering decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with customers, internal teams, and senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams, particularly Data Science, Engineering, Project Management, Technical Operations, and Sales / Account Management / Services

In Massachusetts, the base salary range for this position is : $125,000 - $152,500 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ : MGNI).
