Job Description
Our client located in Dallas, TX is in need of an Associate General Counsel. This is a direct hire in-office opportunity.

Role Responsibilities :
- Facilitate successful real estate transactions, with a particular emphasis on commercial development deals.
- Draft and review real estate agreements, including purchase and sale contracts, deeds, easements, and title transfer documents.
- Manage the preparation and analysis of financing documentation.
- Draft and review commercial leases and management contracts.
- Create and evaluate documents related to real estate ownership, such as LLC agreements, partnership agreements, and profit-sharing arrangements.
- Review title insurance policies and commitments.
- Assist with title resolution efforts.
- Prepare and review mechanics' liens and lien releases.
- Draft and evaluate agreements with developers and general contractors.
- Support litigation and dispute resolution efforts.
- Conduct legal research on real estate matters.
Background Profile :
- Licensed by the State Bar of Texas.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment.
- Experience working for a Real Estate Group is preferred; Title Company experience is not desired.
- Strong experience with real estate transactions, deeds, easements, title transfers, sale agreements, financing documents, and various commercial real estate agreements.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities.
- Capable of engaging with senior leadership.
