We are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate the daily activities of the processing staff as processing procedures
- Supervise and organize manufacturing activities, oversee resource allocation and workflow management to achieve production targets in alignment with plant policies, with a concentrated focus on safety and quality.
- Actively promote plant safety and adherence to Quality, Sanitation, GMP, and HACCP standards
- Set daily / weekly / monthly objectives and communicate them to employees and work together to achieve them.
- Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
- Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions and troubleshoot as needed, organize maintenance activities to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as warehouse, quality assurance, research and development, and supply chain, to address production challenges and introduce enhancements to processes
- Evaluate production procedures and performance metrics to identify improvements, trends, and identify root cause
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields with 3+ years in a supervisory role
- Experience with processing equipment such as dicers, grinders, mixers, patty formers, fryers, oil filters, and freezers.
- Knowledge of production tools and equipment, HACCP and GMP procedures
- Work well under pressure with a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong leadership qualities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
