Apply now for the position of Director of Project Management - Lab Solutions , and you will serve as the leading point of authority and / or source of process knowledge for area of expertise.
Your role :
- You engage with Commercial team as needed during PM20 - PM40 Phase on Solution design, implementation strategies, project execution, sub-contracting, scheduling, resourcing, and risk management.
- You present formal and informal presentations in front of large groups of Siemens personnel or customers.
- You mentor Project Managers on PM processes (PM@DX) and best demonstrated practices for Project Management. Key contributor to Process Improvement initiatives for PM Team and Program Management development.
- You use standardized tools where appropriate for monitoring projects and communications, have working knowledge of regulatory agency requirements specific to the clinical laboratory environment.
- You direct and provide guidance to local Project Managers and local team to develop and establish KPIs, guide and consult, perform project reviews to monitor progress, and ensure the successful completion of the project.
- You provide guidance to the Customer Service Implementation team, R&D, and strategic partners to successfully implement the assigned project with high quality, on time, and on budget.
- You develop roles and responsibilities management process for cross-functional team.
- You perform interviews and approve assigned local project managers to guarantee appropriate skills for the project activities.
- You identify best practices in project and implementation management to help define and implement strategic improvements in Project Management.
- You act as consultant and provide guidance to regional project practitioners.
- You act as lead advisor to top management and business partners on advanced technical matters.
- You represent the company as the primary contact for Country of Local representatives and leadership.
- You develop team members through mentoring and coaching and provide critical technical guidance to associates and upper management.
- You demonstrate ability to advance technologies, processes, and practices in area of specialization or discipline.
- You demonstrate extensive knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contribute to problem resolution of those issues.
- You partner with Global PMO to ensure governance compliance and local regional adherence.
Your expertise :
BS / BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PMP certification is desirable.
5+ Years of successful Leadership Diagnostic experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
A relevant degree may substitute for a portion of required working experience.
- Critical thinking, collaborative relationship building, interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral), problem solving, time management, computer proficiency skills, presentation skills, project management skills, coaching and mentoring, negotiation skills, data analysis, business acumen, and clinical acumen.
- Excellent communication skills, oral & writing.
- Must be able to demonstrate and employ leadership in a matrix organization.
- Prior Laboratory Diagnostics or Healthcare experience is desirable.
- Candidates need to live near a major airport in coverage area.
- Previous experience managing employees required.
Position will support east / central zones. Position is eligible for vehicle program.
The pay range for this position is $148,450 - 192,110 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
