Telemetry RN Job Details Location : Parkersburg, WV 26101 (West Virginia healthcare jobs) Unit : 3N Cardiac Telemetry Unit (43 beds) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 20 / 2025 – End : 1 / 19 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled Hours : 36 hours per week guaranteed Estimated Weekly Salary : $1880–$2020 Charting System : EPIC Dress Code : Royal Blue scrubs Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (will consider candidates awaiting West Virginia RN licensure) Minimum 1 year of recent acute care telemetry nursing experience BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required Proficient in reading cardiac strips and performing EKGs COVID-19 vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Experience titrating Heparin drips Excellent teamwork and communication skills Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care to cardiac telemetry patients, including post-heart catheterization, CHF, COPD, arrhythmias, and post-pacemaker care Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; collaborate with monitor technicians Titrate Heparin drips and manage Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lasix, and Bumex (set rate or occasional titration) Perform patient admissions and discharges; manage a patient load of 1 : 5 (may flex to 1 : 6) Float to other nursing units within your clinical skillset as needed Work collaboratively with charge nurses, patient care technicians (PCTs), and unit clerks Participate in self-scheduling and block scheduling when available Complete 1 day of computer training and 1 day of floor orientation with a preceptor Discover the benefits of travel nursing in West Virginia and join a healthcare team dedicated to quality cardiac care.
