We are rapidly growing and looking for a Sample Technician Apprentice I. This is an opportunity to get certified, learn the ropes from a full-time field technician, and work in a fast-paced environment with huge upside financial growth.
This job requires the ability to multitask and work as a team player. This job will keep you on your toes with a thriving environmental company.

Applicants Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized, and have excellent communication / people skills. Must have the ability to prioritize and have excellent time management skills.

Benefits Include :Compensation :
$35,000 - $40,000 yearly
Responsibilities :
- Assist in performing various duties including courier, administrative tasks, errands, field tech support, etc.
- Learn to work with minimal supervision, learn quickly, and possess excellent problem-solving skills
- Assist Technicians driving to job sites daily and this position requires you to travel for work 100% of the time
- Assist in following the full-time field technician's plan of action and schedule
- Receive required certifications for a mold and asbestos field technician
- Learn how the process on how to collect samples for mold, lead, and asbestos accurately
- Carry and use a ladder to get to testing spots
- Wear protective gear
- Drive the company car safely, and do not speed
Qualifications :
- Full-time and flexible availability
- Must have a good driving record and a current CA Driver's License
- 21 years of age or older
- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
- A minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required, a college degree is preferred
- Have the ability to verbally communicate with customers and coworkers
- Must be able to safely lift and carry boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Must maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to obtain CSST / CAC certifications immediately
