Position Summary
and Responsibilities :
The Student Data and Reporting System Analyst will be responsible for updating, maintaining, monitoring, and reporting of student data within the Learning Management and Student Information Systems that will result in accurate and timely reporting of FTE, CPI, Student Class, Student Record, and other reports required by the Missouri Department of Education.
This position requires confidentiality to the highest degree and protection of student and staff PII (Personal Identifiable Information) will be strictly monitored.
Responsibilities :
- 12-month position
- Update and maintain accurate enrollment and student demographics
- Communicate with other districts to resolve student data discrepancies, such as duplicate or overlapping enrollments.
- Acquire and verify data from primary data sources and organize and maintain educational data within Student Information System
- Provide checks and balances to ensure organizational fidelity to data collection systems
- Ad hoc reporting as requested by the leadership team for decision making
- Process improvements in student data flow from Learning Management System to Student Information System.
- Build spreadsheets and convert to upload files for the state reporting system
- Investigate and correct errors returned by the state reporting system
- Data management of secondary sources, such as MOSIS, Genius and other platforms as necessary
- Work closely with the administrative team to ensure correct enrollment and withdrawal dates are reported.
- Manage a team of 4-6 administrative assistants
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in education and / or data science, information management, or comparable field
- Prior State Reporting experience required
- Experience with the GADOE portal required
- Experience with Infinite Campus required
- Exceptional problem solving, analytical, time management, and organizational skills
- Must be able to multitask in a busy and fast paced environment
- Proven ability to work independently
- Quick to learn, understand, and interpret new rules and regulations
- Proficiency working with spreadsheets and google suite
- Demonstrate high levels of professionalism interacting with faculty, staff, and executive team
- Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines while processing large volumes of sensitive data with high rate of accuracy
- Must be able to use a personal electronic device and email address for 2-step authentication.
Note : The anticipated starting salary for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position begins at $36,000 per year.
