JOB DESCRIPTION :
Manage inbound and outbound calls to and from Curana Health patients in a professional and courteous manner to answer questions or address any concerns in reference to billing statements.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for inbound and outbound calls to and from patients to answer questions or concerns regarding account balances
- Accurately update changes to patient demographic and insurance information in computer database
- Documenting detailed call notes
- Verify insurance and filing claims
- Process patient payments over the phone
- Informs patients of deductibles and co-pays
- Must be able to interact with patients in a professional, courteous and calmly manner
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor and / or management

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prior experience as a Customer Service Specialist or equivalent, ideally within a medical setting
