About The Position
Job Title : Sterile Technician Job Specialty : Central Sterile Processing for Ortho / Sport Medicine Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 10-hour Nights Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Required to submit Certifications : BLS Must-Have : Experience with EPIC charting system Job Description : Work in a Central Sterile Processing Center, specializing in Ortho / Sport Medicine.
- Collaborate within an Operating Room (OR) environment.- Ensure all medical equipment and surgical instruments are properly sterilized.
- Maintain compliance with established standards and protocols.- Prepare and organize surgical instruments and supplies.- Support surgical teams with ready access to essential sterile equipment.
- Engage in ongoing inventory management and control.- Participate in a mandatory 24-hour orientation program.- Adhere to the facility's cancellation policy, allowing for four shift cancellations per 13-week assignment.
- Provide high-quality care in an acute care setting.- Work primarily during night shifts.
