Job Description :

We are seeking a Field Service Technician with experience in packaging system manufacturing and assembly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service technician roles and a basic understanding of HMI PLC functionality.

This position requires the ability to diagnose technical problems, provide solutions, and work closely with customers in a professional manner.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, hands-on, and able to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide on-site technical support for packaging system installations and maintenance
  • Diagnose technical issues and determine appropriate solutions
  • Collaborate with customers to address service needs and ensure satisfaction
  • Utilize MS Office tools for documentation and reporting
  • Extensive global travel (approximately 60%) to customer sites for service appointments
  • Demonstrate a high level of energy and readiness to tackle challenges

Requirements :

  • 1 year of experience in packaging system manufacturing and assembly (preferred)
  • 3 years of experience as a Service Technician (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of HMI PLC functionality
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work professionally with customers
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, action-oriented approach
  • Ability to assess next steps and anticipate future tasks
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
