The Team Member We Are Searching For
The ideal Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is passionate about delivering superior, patient-centered care and is an excellent communicator with all types of patients.
Under the direction of the Director of Patient Care, the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides services to patients in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, agency policies, and accepted professional standards of practice utilizing a comprehensive base of nursing theory and nursing process and communicates and documents observations and assessments.
What you’ll need to accomplish :
Assures employees receive complete and accurate directions and information about patient needs.
Initiates the plan of care and makes necessary revisions as patient status and needs change.
Uses health assessment data to determine clinical diagnosis and treatment plan.
Provides health care instructions to the patient as appropriate per assessment and plan.
Receives and carries out physician orders.
Notifies patient physician, the Director of Clinical or Designee and / or Clinical Supervisor immediately of any changes in the patient’s condition.
Completes documentation (paper or automated system).
Supports the verification of staff time records with schedules.
